We agree, but we also believe that the most important here is not the fact it's the very first baby’s photo session. What really matters here is that your child will become an adult and will be thrilled to see their baby features and show them to their own kids.
This is the first real present in their life. Your child will appreciate it, and it will stay with them forever. You brought your child to this world, so we will do our best to give them astonishing memories about this moment.
The best time to photograph newborns is between 5 and 12 days. Please book your session as soon as you know your due date.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO PHOTOGRAPH MY BABY?
The best time to photograph babies is between 5 and 12 days old. During this time babies tend to be sleepy most of the time and can be put into all kinds of cute positions. You will need to book your newborn photoshoot with plenty of notice, so contact us as soon as you know your due date.
We will make a tentative booking for 5-21 days after your due date, and we can change it if your baby arrives early or late. Since newborn sessions can take up to five hours to set up, we only book them Monday to Friday, and all newborn sessions start at 10 am, since infants tend to get cranky in the afternoon and evening. We only allow one newborn session a day, so there is no rushing for your baby.
WHAT IS THE PRICING?
Our newborn sessions include a beautiful Italian handmade Reveal Box of 15 professionally edited and printed fine-art photographs and a beautiful online gallery that stores your hi-res digital files. You are also paying for a wonderful experience that you will remember for the lifetime. This is such a unique time in your life, and we want to capture that for you.
The total cost is $1300, which includes travel, newborn photography setup, LABlack studio backdrop and light for family pictures, newborn photography session, family photography session, retouching work for 15 photos, your premium print, and reveal box, high-resolution digital files gallery. You will also have the option to upgrade your Reveal Box or purchase stunning wall art during an online viewing session a few days after your session. We also provide combined packages with a newborn photography session and Maternity photo session for a more cost-efficient price with additional bonuses.
ARE YOU EXPERIENCED IN TAKING NEWBORNS’ PICTURES SAFELY?
A typical newborn session can last up to five hours, and your baby will be with us the whole time. We have training in handling and posing babies safely. We practice safe posing techniques, and the comfort and safety of your baby is our main goal.
WILL FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY HARM MY BABY?
Absolutely not. A baby will not even react to the flash, whether asleep or awake. Also, flash photography used during baby photo shoots is quite different from what most people imagine when they think of a flash. Special newborn photography light is no brighter than the one that comes through your window at home on a bright overcast day.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANY PROPS OR ACCESSORIES TO MY NEWBORN SESSION?
We insist that any photography that we provide should look like artwork. We have a lot of newborn photography styles you can choose from. However, please note that we don't use "funny props" for Facebook. Would Da Vinci use some funny props for Mona Lisa? We try to keep it cute and soft but still consider creating the art for you that lasts forever. Beautiful photographs of your baby on their own or in your hands are more timeless and will be more valued by you and your child when they are older. However, if you have something special that you would like us to include in your pictures, we will do it for you. We provide everything to photograph your baby, once you have booked your newborn photography session, you can choose style and colors for your baby.
IS IT A POSSIBILITY FOR MY PARTNER AND OTHER CHILDREN TO BE INCLUDED IN THE SESSION?
Yes! Family pictures are a part of the newborn photography package. Having a new baby is an exciting time for everyone in the family, and we would love to document that for you. We are experts in family photography, and you can find plenty of family photography packages on our website.
WHEN WILL I SEE THE IMAGES?
We will schedule an online selection session several days after your photoshoot. During this session, you will view your beautiful photos for the first time and make your selection for the pictures to be saved/retouched for you and decide if you would like to order beautiful wall art for your home.
CAN I PURCHASE JUST THE DIGITAL FILES?
Newborn photography session includes both the printed and digital copies of your photographs. The digital files cannot be purchased separately. We truly do believe that the professional pictures that we are create for you deserve to be displayed using only the best quality professional products. Purchasing printed photographs is the only sure way to show and display them often and archive your beautiful memories.
WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO LOCATED?
Our office address is 1800 Century Park East, Los Angeles.
We currently offer home sessions where we can set up a small studio in a suitable room; most living rooms have ample space. If you would prefer a studio session, we will advise you of the best photography studio based on your location.
HOW DO I BOOK?
